On May 5, 2026, voters in the area covered by the ballot issue will be asked to consider a 1 mill road levy for Clinton Township road services.
This levy is proposed for a 5 year term and, if approved, would begin in January 2027.
One existing road levy expired at the end of 2025. This levy is intended to continue funding for important road services provided in Clinton Township.
Clinton Township maintains 44 miles of township roads. Funding generated through this levy would help support essential services such as road maintenance, roadside maintenance, and snow removal. These services play an important role in keeping township roads safe, functional, and properly maintained throughout the year.
For perspective, a home valued at $200,000Â would cost the homeowner approximately 19.2 cents per day, or about $70.08 per year.
This issue is about maintaining essential township road services and planning responsibly for the future.
Residents are encouraged to review the information and stay informed ahead of the May 5, 2026 election.
